This Privacy Policy is a contract between You ("you", "your", "yours") and ChevApps, Inc. ("we", "us", "our", "ChevApps").

It describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Nunch application (the "App") and related website (the "Site").

We take personal privacy seriously. We limit the collection of personal information to instances where we truly need it or it is required to operate our products. Personal information is never shared except to comply with the law, improve our products, or protect our rights.

1. No Account & No Backend

  • No Account Required. You do not need to sign up or create an account to use the App.
  • No Server-Side Storage. We do not run a server or backend that stores your personal data—everything stays on your device or in your own iCloud.

2. Data You Enter

To calculate and personalize your macronutrient goals, the App asks you to enter:

  • Weight
  • Height
  • Age
  • Sex
  • Activity level

Storage: All of this information is stored locally on your device and, if enabled, in your personal iCloud account. We never access, view, or store this data ourselves.

3. Health & Nutrition Data

You may enter additional data about your food intake, nutrients, and energy burned. Like your personal profile above, any Health Data you choose to track:

  • Is stored only on your device and in your iCloud.
  • Is never transmitted to us or any third party other than Apple iCloud.

We do not use your Health Data for advertising, marketing, or profiling.

4. Purchases & Subscriptions

  • In-App Purchases. All subscriptions and trials are managed directly through Apple's in-app purchase system. We do not collect or store your payment information. Read Apple's Privacy Policy.
  • RevenueCat. We integrate RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive any of your personal profile or health data; it only knows your subscription entitlement status. Read RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

5. Support Emails

If you email us (e.g., for support or feedback), we will store your email address and message content solely to respond to your inquiry. We will never use your email for marketing or share it with third parties. You may request deletion of these messages at any time by contacting [email protected].

6. Third-Party Technical Data

When you use the App, certain basic technical details—such as your IP address, device model, and operating system version—may be logged temporarily by the third-party services we use, as declared above, for operational purposes. These logs are used solely for maintenance, troubleshooting, and improving the App or the Site.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us at [email protected] so we can delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights (EU & UK)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have rights under the GDPR, including to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email [email protected] and we will respond within one month.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion. We do not sell personal data. To exercise your rights under the CCPA, please email [email protected].

10. International Data Transfers

All personal data processing occurs on your device or in your own iCloud account. Any technical logs stored by third parties may be processed in the locations where those services operate; please review their privacy policies for details.

11. Data Security

While no system is completely foolproof, we take reasonable administrative and technical safeguards (encryption, secure iCloud storage, anonymization) to protect your data from unauthorized access.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the "Last Updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
